A new quarter has begun and this time the two main themes are Multi-Agent Systems and Smart Enviroments.
In classes we will be learning how to plan, build, develop and test multi-agent systems and learn how to build smart environments using mobile robotics, industrial robotic and IoT devices. This quarters project will have to integrate this tow themes.
Our team is thinking about creating a multi-agent system to simulate a energy community using the projects we developed so far like the optimization algorithms, the forecast algorithms, and so forth. For the smart environment part we will build a physical mockup to represent the simulation physocly and in real time.
This week we already learned about how to program and use an arduino and how does the ROS work, a robot operating system which allows us to develop software for sensors and robot components. For the Multi-Agent System chair we learned how many types of agents there are and what's the difference between an agent and a peculiar piece of software.
