Week 30: Getting things together

In this week, the team implemented more device agents to make the negotiation more complete and another IOT to represent the state of the batteries.

The agents created for the multi-agent system consist in the representation of lamps, air conditioning, television, oven and washing machine with different negotiation strategies for both the first and the second phase of negotiating energy. The multi-agent system now has also market, optimization and battery agents to simulate the behaviours of these entities in the process of reducing or increasing the energy available for the house.

In terms of the new IOT, it uses 4 leds to represent all the 6 batteries state as a bar of quantity and flashes when the battery is filling up in one of the four levels (each led represent 1/4 of the battery levels). The IOT devices have also been linked to the main system and have been further tested with very promising results.

In the next and final week, further tweeks will be done to the system to make it more realistic, as well as the article will be finished.
