Week 9: A new challenge

In this week the team started to think about ideas for the new challenge which must solve a problem involving machine learning, and planning and decision making algorithms. So far the team decided to create system capable of predicting the production and consumption of households of a community and then use a decision making algorithm to decide which is best resolution to deal with the energy (store it in batteries, sell it, ...).

The team also started looking for a dataset that would fit this problem and we already have one containing information of 29 households with the consumption of each device of the houses and the production of solar energy, as well as the temperature in the cities where these households are located for the same period.
